The delegation comprised all matters connected with the EU-Japan Free Trade Agreement.
The main aim of this trip was to gather a practical insight to the willingness of reaching the agreement. I was taking part in several, very important meetings with officials of Japanese Government, during which we have been negotiating the particular issues which will hopefully result in concluding the desirable deal between Japan and EU. I am glad to announce that we are very satisfied with the results of that delegation and we hope that the FTA will be concluded in the near future.
