Blockchain: a forward looking trade policy

In the report, the rapporteur argues that EU trade policy should make more use of the new technology which could, among others, speed up customs procedures, provide more transparency, and assist trade defence instruments. The report requests the Commission to work on a strategy document on the adoption of blockchain technologies in EU trade.
