Modernisation of the EU’s Trade Defence Instruments. MEPs will vote on adeal struck with ministers in December foreseeing tougher defence tools against unfair imports. Key features of the agreement: possibly higher tariffs, shorter and more transparent investigations, a helpdesk for SMEs, trade unions’ involvement, social and environmental dumping to be taken into account.
