Committee on International Trade

The Committee on International Trade’s powers are executed over matters relating to the establishment and implementation of the Union’s common commercial policy and its external economic relations, in particular:

  1. financial, economic and trade relations with third countries and regional organizations,
  2. measures of technical harmonisation and standardization in fields covered by instruments of international;
  3. relations with the relevant international organizations and with organizations promoting economic and commercial integration at the regional level outside the EU,
  4. relations with the World Trade Organization, including its parliamentary dimension.

The Committee on International Trade collaborates with the relevant interparliamentary delegations and ad hoc delegations depending on the economic and trade relations with third countries.
